-
I JUST GOT MARRIED AND MY FLOWERS ARE STARTING TO DIE. CAN YOU RESERVE THEM?YOUR FLOWERS WILL PRESERVE IN THE SAME SHAPE AND CONDITION I RECEIVE THEM. I CAN DO MY BEST TO CUT AWAY BROWN SPOTS BUT TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE IF YOU WANT TO PRESERVE THEM. YOU ALWAYS HAVE THE OPTION TO WORK WITH YOUR FLORIST TO SEND ME A RECREATION! YOU MAY ALSO HANG THEM TO DRY AS I WORK WITH AIR-DRIED FLOWERS AS WELL!
-
WHAT HAPPENS IF I SHIP YOU MY FLOWERS AND THEY GET DAMAGED OR DELAYED?UNFORTUNATELY, I DO NOT HAVE ANY CONTROL OVER SHIPPING CARRIERS OR SHIPPING DELAYS. IF YOUR FLOWERS ARE DAMAGED OR CANNOT BE PRESERVED, YOU CAN CHOOSE TO NOT MOVE FORWARD WITH PRESERVATION, OR YOU CAN WORK WITH YOUR FLORIST FOR A RECREATION. I ALSO KNOW OF SEVERAL LOCAL FLORISTS THAT CAN WORK WITH YOU!
-
CAN YOU KEEP MY BOUQUET INTACT?BECAUSE OF THE DRYING PROCESS, I MUST REMOVE THE BLOOMS FROM THEIR STEMS TO BE DRIED IN SILICA GEL.
-
WILL MY FLOWERS DRY THE SAME COLOR?THE FLOWERS WILL LOOK COMPLETELY DIFFERENT WHEN DRIED. WHITE WILL OFTEN DRY A SOFT TO DARK IVORY. SOME PINKS WILL DRY DARK AND TURN PURPLE. YELLOWS CAN TURN DARKER OR BECOME A MUTED COLOR. LIGHT BLUES AND PURPLES WILL DRY DARKER. RED AND PURPLE WILL DRY A VERY DARK PLUM. IF YOU HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT A SPECIFIC FLOWER, PLEASE CONTACT ME, AND I CAN GIVE YOU MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE END RESULT.
-
CAN I PUT MY FLORAL BLOCK IN A WINDOW?TO ENSURE YOUR ARTWORK LASTS FOR YEARS TO COME, IT IS RECOMMENDED TO STORE YOUR PIECE OUT OF DIRECT SUNLIGHT AND AWAY FROM A DIRECT HEAT SOURCE. I USE HIGH-GRADE EPOXY RESIN BUT IF LEFT IN THE SUN, AS WITH ANYTHING, THE FLOWERS WILL FADE AND THE RESIN WILL BE YELLOW.
-
CAN YOU PRESERVE FLOWERS THAT ARE IN THE FREEZER?NO, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PRESERVE FLOWERS ONCE THEY ARE FROZEN. WHEN THEY THAW, THEY WILL IMMEDIATELY DIE. IF YOU ARE TRYING TO KEEP YOUR FLOWERS ALIVE, GIVE THEM FRESH WATER DAILY, FLOWER FOOD AND YOU CAN ALSO CLIP THE END OF THE STEMS AT A DIAGONAL ANGLE SO THEY CAN "DRINK" FRESH WATER.
-
CAN YOU PRESERVE ANY FLOWER?SOME FLOWERS AND PLANTS DO NOT DRY AND PRESERVE WELL. DUE TO THEIR HIGH WATER CONTENT, SUCCULENTS ARE IMPOSSIBLE TO DRY. FLOWERS WITH THIN PETALS MAY BECOME VERY BRITTLE AFTER DRYING AND END UP TRANSLUCENT IN THE RESIN.ORCHIDS AND LILYS ARE PRONE TO BE VERY BRITTLE AND THIN.
-
WHY DO SOME FLOWER PETALS HAVE TRANSLUCENT SPOTS WHEN THEY ARE PRESERVED?THE TRANSLUCENT SPOTS ARE BRUISES THAT HAPPEN TO A FLOWER DURING ITS LIFETIME. BRUISING CAN HAPPEN AT THE FLORIST, DURING YOUR WEDDING DAY, AND DURING SHIPPING. THE SPOTS ARE A MEMORY OF THE LIFE YOUR FLOWER HAD. WE ARE ALL PERFECTLY IMPERFECT AND SO ARE OUR FLOWERS.
